Supported Triggers:

Task Status Change: Triggered when a task’s status changes to a specified value.
Start Date: Triggered when a task’s start date matches the current date.
Finish Date: Triggered when a task’s finish date matches the current date.
Priority Change: Triggered when a task’s priority changes to a specified value.
Start Date Changed: Triggered when a task’s start date is updated.
Finish Date Changed: Triggered when a task’s finish date is updated.
Task Creation: Triggered when a new task is created.
Inactivity: Triggered when a task is inactive for a specified number of days.

Supported Actions:

Change Task Status: Automatically updates a task’s status to a specified value.
Add Comment: Adds a predefined comment to the task.
Set Priority: Updates the task’s priority to a specified level.
Add/Remove Followers: Adds or removes team members as followers of a task.
Assign Users: Assigns team members to the task or replaces existing assignees.
Update Custom Field: Sets a specified value for a custom field in the task.
Manage Tags: Adds, removes, or replaces tags for a task.
Change Due Date: Adjusts the due date by a specified number of days.
Add Reminder: Creates a reminder with a specified comment for an event.

Example Scenarios:

Scenario 1:When a task’s due date is today, change the status to “In Progress” and add the comment “Work on this task immediately.”
Scenario 2:If a task’s priority changes to “High,” assign it to a specific team member and add them as a follower for better tracking.
Scenario 3:When a task is inactive for 7 days, add the comment “Please review this task” and notify the project manager via a reminder.
Scenario 4:When a task’s finish date is updated, automatically update the due date by 3 days and tag it with “Updated Schedule.”
Scenario 5:If a task is created with a high-priority label, immediately assign it to the team lead and notify them with a comment “Urgent task created.”
Scenario 6:When a task’s status changes to “Completed,” add the tag “Closed” and set the priority to “Low.”
Scenario 7:If a task’s start date is today, set a reminder for the assignee with the comment “Don’t forget to start this task.”

How It Works:

Install the module via Perfex CRM’s admin area by uploading the upload.zip file.
Access the new “Automation” tab under the Utilities section to manage your automations.
Create automation rules by specifying triggers (e.g., due date, task creation), conditions, and effects (e.g., status change, comments).
Save and activate your automations to start automating repetitive task management processes.
