Embellishments (optional, such as glitter, rhinestones, or faux snow)

Christmas-themed stencils (optional, for added designs)

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Create the Box Base:

Cut a piece of cardstock to a square or rectangular shape depending on the size of the gift or card you want to place inside. A common size is 8x8 inches or 10x10 inches for a small box.
Using a ruler, measure and mark about 1 inch from the edges of the square, creating the folds for the box. This will help form the sides of the box once folded.

2. Score the Fold Lines:

Use a scoring tool or the back edge of a scissor blade to create clean fold lines along the marks. Be careful to score lightly so the paper doesn’t tear.
Fold along each scored line to create the sides of your box. If you used a square shape, the sides will naturally form a box shape.

3. Cut Out the Box Flaps:

Cut along the corner lines of the box to create flaps that will form the box’s walls. You can either create straight flaps or slightly angled ones for a decorative effect.
After cutting, you’ll have four flaps that will fold up around the box’s base.

4. Assemble the Box:

Fold the flaps upward and glue or tape them together at the edges to form the walls of the box.
Ensure the box stays sturdy and hold the edges for a few seconds while the glue dries.

5. Decorate the Box:

Once the base is assembled, you can begin decorating your box:
- Christmas-themed stickers or rubber stamps can add a festive touch.
- Use a ribbon to tie around the box for an elegant touch, or apply washi tape along the edges for a quick and colorful design.
- Add embellishments like faux snow, glitter, or small ornaments to enhance the festive look.
- If you have Christmas-themed stencils, you can trace patterns like snowflakes, reindeer, or trees on the outside of the box.
