Drop Uploader plugin allows you to easily convert your form’s default file input field to a powerful Drag & Drop area, which supports multiple file uploading, file type validation, and error handling. There is no need to customize your existing form HTML code, just include plugin files and JS code snippet and turn it on. A Drop Uploader is a file upload tool that allows users to drag and drop files into a designated area on the web page for uploading. It simplifies the user experience by removing the need to click through file input dialogs. Below is a basic implementation of a Drag & Drop File Uploader using JavaScript and HTML5.

How It Works:

HTML:
- The drop area (<div id="drop-area">) is where files can be either dragged and dropped or selected by clicking the area. There is also a hidden file input (<input type="file">) that lets users select files manually if they prefer.
- The selected or dropped files will be displayed in a list below the drop area in the <div id="file-list">.
CSS:
- The drop area has a dashed border, making it visually distinct as a target for file drops.
- On hover, the background color changes to indicate to the user that they can drop files there.
- When files are dragged over the drop area, the dragover class is added, changing the background color to give more feedback.
JavaScript:
- Event Listeners:
  - The dragover, drop, and change events are handled. The dragover event triggers a visual change (highlighting) in the drop area.
  - The drop event handles files dropped onto the area, while the change event listens for files selected via the file input field.
- Handling Files:
  - The handleDrop and handleFileSelect functions gather the files (either from drag-and-drop or file input selection) and pass them to the displayFiles function.
- Displaying Files:
  - The displayFiles function takes the selected files and creates a list (<ul>) of files showing their name and size in bytes.
