GuestLens is a self-hosted PHP script for collecting guest photos and videos at events. A host creates an event and gets a QR code. Guests scan it and upload photos and videos from their phone browser. There is no app to install and no account to make. The host gets a live gallery, a big-screen slideshow, a guestbook with voice notes, and one ZIP file with everything.You install GuestLens on your own server and run it as your own service. You are the super admin. You set the plans and prices, take payments with Stripe, PayPal, or bank transfer, and put your own brand on every page and email. Protect an event with a PIN or a password, and set the dates when uploads open and close.Eight event themes. Wedding Classic, Wedding Garden, Birthday, Baby Shower, Corporate, Graduation, Anniversary, and Holiday Party. Each theme changes the fonts, colors, button shapes, ornament, and cover. The host can add a cover photo and a logo.ModerationNothing appears until the host approves it. The host can approve everything at once, select many files, or use the keyboard (A approves, R rejects). Moderation works on a phone too. A host can also turn approval off for an event, so uploads show right away.Big-screen slideshowOne link for a TV or projector. Set the price, the number of events, storage per event, the guest limit, and how many days an event stays open. Hosts pay once for a plan. A new install starts with three sample plans at $49, $99, and $199.Payments. Stripe Checkout, PayPal, and bank transfer with a proof upload. Card numbers never touch your server. If a payment notice from Stripe or PayPal fails, a background check confirms the payment within about 10 minutes.White label. Change the product name, logo, favicon, accent color, login background, and footer text. Every email carries your branding.Storage. Keep files on your own server, or use S3-compatible storage such as Amazon S3, Cloudflare R2, Wasabi, or DigitalOcean Spaces. A test button checks the connection.Custom domains. An event can use its own domain, on plans that include it. You add the DNS record and the SSL certificate in your hosting panel.Host management. Add, search, and suspend hosts, change their limits by hand, and log in as any host to see what they see.System health. See the storage status, the last cron run, the upload limit, failed jobs, and free disk space on one card.Updates from the browser. Upload the new version in the admin. Uploads and settings stay as they are.Use it for your own events. A photographer or a venue can add hosts by hand with no payment step.
