invoicePress - EN16931 e-Invoice Viewer

Live Demo: invoicePress - EN16931 e-Invoice Viewer Live Demo

invoicePress - EN16931 e-Invoice Viewer is a powerful WordPress plugin that allows your visitors to view electronic invoices directly on your website. This standalone plugin replicates the core functionality of the ZUGFeRD Quba viewer, providing a clear and structured view of invoices without relying on external services or storing the files.

Product Overview

invoicePress empowers you to offer an e-invoice demo, a validation helper, or a customer-facing viewer. It seamlessly reads ZUGFeRD / Factur-X PDFs, CII / UBL / XRechnung XML files, and renders every invoice field. Optionally, it displays the matching EN 16931 business-term numbers (BT-…), enhancing the user experience with detailed invoice information.

Modern Design and User Experience

invoicePress adopts a modern, Quba-inspired layout for an intuitive and user-friendly experience. The single-scroll layout features colored section tabs, indicating data availability, and a hero header highlighting the invoice amount due. The viewer presents all fields consistently, even empty ones, mirroring the original viewer's structure.

Main Features and Capabilities

• Supported Invoice Formats:
  • ZUGFeRD / Factur-X (PDF): The embedded XML is automatically extracted and read.
  • CII (UN/CEFACT) XML: Read directly.
  • UBL / XRechnung (XML): Converted internally to CII and then read.
• EN 16931 Business Terms: Each field can be labeled with its corresponding EN 16931 business-term number. Visitors can toggle the display of these numbers via a switch within the viewer. You can set the default display per embed using the shortcode attribute bt="1" or bt="0" or globally within the plugin settings. The field mapping adheres to the official EN 16931 specification.
• Theme Independence via Shadow DOM: The viewer is rendered within a Shadow DOM, ensuring that no inheritable theme styles (fonts, sizes, colors, line-height) affect its appearance. This guarantees consistent rendering across all WordPress themes.

Responsive Design

The invoicePress viewer is designed to be fully responsive, adapting seamlessly to different screen sizes and devices. This ensures a consistent and optimal viewing experience for all users.

Customization Options

While invoicePress provides a robust set of features out-of-the-box, it also offers some customization options to tailor the viewer to your specific needs:

• Business Term Display: Control the visibility of EN 16931 business terms using the shortcode attribute bt="1" or bt="0" or in the plugin settings.

Integration and Compatibility

invoicePress seamlessly integrates with WordPress, utilizing a simple shortcode to embed the viewer on any page or post.

SEO and Performance Considerations

The plugin is optimized for performance, ensuring fast loading times and a smooth user experience. While the viewer itself doesn't directly impact SEO, using relevant keywords and structured data within the invoice content can improve overall visibility.

Ideal Use Cases

• E-Invoice Demos: Showcase the capabilities of your e-invoicing system by allowing visitors to view sample invoices directly on your website.
• Validation Helpers: Provide a tool for users to validate the accuracy and completeness of their e-invoices before submitting them.
• Customer-Facing Viewers: Offer clients a convenient way to access and review their invoices online.

• WordPress website owners looking to integrate e-invoice viewing functionality.
