• All endpoints return JSON; errors return HTTP 4xx with descriptive messages
• Authentication via license_key parameter (no separate API token needed for customers)

License Certificates

• Each license key comes with a branded certificate page
• Certificate link is included in order receipts and customer emails
• Certificate URL format: ?keypilot_cert=1&key=LICENSE_KEY
• Customize certificate logo and text from KeyPilot → Settings

Customer-Facing Delivery

• WooCommerce: Keys shown on Thank You page, My Account → View Order, and order confirmation emails (HTML + plain text)
• EDD: Keys shown on Purchase Receipt and payment confirmation
• Each key includes a View Certificate link
• Customize welcome email subject and body from KeyPilot → Emails

Envato / CodeCanyon Integration

• Accept Envato purchase codes (UUID format) as valid license keys
• KeyPilot verifies purchase codes with the Envato API on first activation
• Creates a managed license from the Envato sale — activation limits and updates work identically
• Set Envato Item ID on your WooCommerce/EDD product to link the sale to the correct product settings
• Customers who bought on Envato and customers who bought on your store both use the same /activate and /check endpoints — no separate flow needed
• Supports CodeCanyon, ThemeForest, and other Envato marketplaces

Smart Revocation

• Licenses are automatically revoked when a WooCommerce order is set to Refunded or Cancelled
• EDD licenses are revoked when payment status changes to refunded, revoked, or failed
• Revocation is handled by the license keys stored in order/payment meta — no order_id dependency
• Manually revoke any license from KeyPilot → Licenses at any time

Webhooks

• Configure a webhook URL in KeyPilot → Settings
• Receive real-time POST notifications for events such as license.created
• Useful for syncing with external CRMs, Slack alerts, or custom workflows

Admin Dashboard

• Dashboard — Overview totals: licenses issued, active activations, API request count
• Licenses — Full list with search, filter by status, edit limits, revoke
• Activations — See which domains are activated per license key
