Live Demo: Magento 2 Admin Payment Method Live Demo

Magento 2 Admin Payment Method is a powerful extension that empowers store administrators to create and manage custom payment methods directly from the admin panel, eliminating the need for third-party gateways or complex setups. This solution is ideal for scenarios involving offline payments, internal transactions, manual orders, or specialized payment workflows.

Product Overview

In situations where a Magento website administrator needs to create orders directly in the backend (Sales -> Orders -> Create New Order), a valid payment method is typically required. The Magento 2 Admin Payment Method extension addresses this requirement by providing a universal payment method exclusively accessible within the admin panel for creating orders. This eliminates the reliance on other payment methods that might not be suitable for backend order creation.

How It Works

Installing and configuring this extension is straightforward. Navigate to Store -> Configuration -> Sales -> Payment Method: Payment Method for Admin to customize the options. Once enabled, you can select this payment method on the "Create New Order" screen.

Key Features and Capabilities

The Magento 2 Admin Payment Method extension offers a range of features designed to streamline backend order creation:

• Compatibility: This extension is compatible with all Magento 2 versions, including 2.1.x and 2.2.x.

• Order Status Selection: Choose a specific order status to be applied when the admin payment method is used. This allows for precise control over the order workflow.

• Automatic Invoice Generation: Enable automatic invoice creation after a new admin order is placed, simplifying the invoicing process.

• Automatic Shipment Creation: After creating a new admin order, automatically generate a shipment and set the order status to "Complete." This streamlines fulfillment and order tracking.

Ideal Use Cases

The Magento 2 Admin Payment Method extension is particularly beneficial for:

• Offline Payments: Process payments that don't involve online gateways, such as cash, check, or bank transfer.

• Internal Transactions: Manage payments between different departments or entities within your organization.

• Manual Order Processing: Create orders manually for special requests, promotions, or situations where automated order processing is not feasible.

• Customized Payment Workflows: Implement unique payment processes that don't fit standard online payment methods.

Who Should Use This Product?
