The board comes with a default arrangement of snakes and ladders, or players can customize positions using the built-in board editor before the game begins. Objective: Be the first player to reach or pass square 100. Roll the dice on your turn and move your token forward by the rolled number. Land on a ladder foot to climb up to the top; land on a snake’s head to slide down to its tail. Turns: Tap the dice button to roll. Your token moves automatically to the new square. If you land on a ladder foot, your token climbs up instantly. If you land on a snake’s head, your token slides back down. The turn then passes to your opponent. Board Editor: Before starting a match, use the editor to customize the board. Tap Add Snakes or Add Ladders to place a new element, then drag its handles to any valid squares. Tap Delete to remove a selected element. Tap Lock when you’re happy with the layout — the board will be locked and the game begins. Tap Lock again at any time to return to edit mode. Winning: The first player whose token reaches or passes square 100 wins the round immediately. A win animation and sound play to celebrate. Online Mode: Tap Host to create a room and share the room code with a friend, or tap Join and enter a room code to connect. Once both players are ready and have locked the board, the match begins. Dice rolls, token movement, and board state are synced in real-time between both devices. During online matches, you can also send emoji reactions and chat with your opponent using the built-in text chat. A typing indicator shows when your opponent is composing a message. Note: Online Multiplayer, room hosting, and in-game chat require external server infrastructure (signaling/backend services). Hosting and maintenance of these online services are not included with this template and may incur additional server and hosting costs. Offline modes (vs AI and PvP) work without any online services.
