Puny Slash | HTML5 Game - Phaser 4 is a fast-paced action game template built with Phaser 4 + TypeScript. This template gives you a foundation to create your own engaging HTML5 game where players control a soldier fighting waves of enemies. Move with your mouse, slash through enemies with satisfying dash attacks, collect gems, purchase upgrades between stages, and battle epic bosses.

Core Gameplay

Puny Slash features intuitive mouse-driven controls. On desktop, move the character by moving your mouse and attack by clicking. On mobile, touch and drag to move, and tap to attack. The core gameplay revolves around the slash dash attack. Click to dash toward enemies with a satisfying slash. Each dash leaves a visual trail and can hit multiple enemies in its path.

Enemies spawn in waves with increasing difficulty. Survive long enough to face the stage boss. You'll encounter multiple enemy types, including melee enemies that rush you, ranged enemies that shoot projectiles, and bosses with unique attack patterns, such as double-slashes, spin attacks, and projectile volleys.

Upgrade System and Progression

Between stages, you can visit the upgrade shop. Collect gems from defeated enemies and spend them on upgrades that increase your HP, slash distance, gem drops, and unlock shield and pot power-ups.

Enemies also drop gems, shield power-ups (invulnerability), and pots (a magnet that collects nearby gems). The duration of these power-ups increases with upgrades.

A combo system allows you to chain kills for a higher score. Multi-slash bonuses reward killing many enemies in a single dash. The game features progressive difficulty, with enemies getting stronger each stage. After completing all stages, you can enter endless survival mode to test your skills.
